Condition rarity defines the issue’s upper reaches: MS-65 or better coins are exceedingly scarce, with perhaps five to eight authenticated across NGC and PCGS combined. Most collectors never encounter one in any grade above MS-63. The MS-62 grade thus occupies a practical ceiling, offering sharp design elements and original surfaces without crossing into the near-unattainable realm of superb preservation.
