1953-D 10C Roosevelt Dime PCGS MS-67+ FB
The 1953-D Roosevelt Dime in PCGS MS-67+ FB represents the pinnacle of preservation for a widely produced mid-century issue. Struck at the Denver Mint, this coin exhibits razor-sharp Full Bands on the reverse torch, a clear indication of an exceptional strike that elevates it far above the typical survivor from this year.
From a population standpoint, this dime is a true Condition Rarity. PCGS has graded just 24 examples at the lofty MS-67+ level, with a mere five coins certified finer. That distinction is especially striking when weighed against its original mintage of 136,433,000 pieces—underscoring just how elusive top-tier examples truly are.
Adding further appeal, both obverse and reverse are enhanced with beautiful rainbow toning that blankets the surfaces with vibrant color. This natural, eye-catching patina significantly boosts desirability, transforming an already scarce high-grade Roosevelt dime into a standout specimen that commands special attention from advanced collectors.
