The Reverse features circles contrast diameter of a government dollar with that of the proposed Free Silver coinage. Reverse with two circles, smaller one at the top encloses this message SIZE OF / GOVERNMENT DOLLAR / CONTAINING / 412 1/2 / GRAINS OF SILVER / 900/1000 FINE. and below in small letters at the base of the larger circle TIFFANY & CO. The edge is plain, toned with attractive gunmetal-gray throughout.
