Trajan. Silver Denarius (3.32 g), AD 98-117. minted in Rome, ca. AD 107. The obverse features IMP CAES NERVAE TRAIANO AVG GER DAC P M TR P, accompanied by the laureated bust of Trajan facing right, with slight drapery on far shoulder. The reverse features S P Q R OPTIMO PRINCIPI, with Aequitas or Moneta standing and facing left, holding scales and a cornucopiae.

This is a high relief and scarce unbearded portrait, which is normally seen. We note this is a very lustrous Mint State specimen indeed.
