Julian of Pannonia, Roman Usurper, AD 284-285. Antoninianus (21mm, 2.95 g, 12h). Struck at the Siscia mint, 1st officina, in December AD 284. The obevrse features IMP C M AVR IVLIANVS P F AVG, with a radiated, draped, and cuirassed bust facing right. The reverse features VICT ORIA AVG, with Victory standing facing left, holding wreath and palm.
S-A//XXI. RIC V 5; Venèra 4396. This specimen has a dark gray-brown patina, some toned silvering, with minor smoothing. Very rare.
