Strike 5/5; Surface 5/5. A virtually unimprovable GEM specimen of Constantius II, as Caesar, struck at the Cyzicus Mint circa AD 325-326. His laureated, draped, and cuirassed bust faces left on the obverse; with the inscription FL IVL CONSTANTIVS NOB C around. The reverse features the Camp gate, six stone layers, two turrets, with star above. The inscription PROVIDEN-TIAE CAESS is around with SMKA• in exergue. RIC VII 38. We note a very attractive smooth medallic appearing obverse with plenty of original silvering remaining on surfaces. (Æ. 2.88g. 19 mm.)
