2002 "A California Gold Rush History" limited edition by Q. David Bowers

A California Gold Rush History featuring the treasure from the S.S. Central America. From a limited print run of 400 copies, the deluxe red leather slipcase edition of Q. David Bowers iconic work on the California Gold Rush was issued in conjunction with the 2002 sale of ingots from the S.S. Central America. Each ingot sold was accompanied by a copy of the deluxe edition, with a pinch of gold mounted in a clear plastic window inside the front cover. This well-preserved volume contains more than 1,000 large format gilt-edged pages and comes shrinkwrapped inside the sturdy slipcase. This volume will be an important addition to a high caliber numismatic library.
