Then imagine owning it, adding this lustrous coin to your collection. “The 1928 is slightly more rare overall than the 1926 and 1927,” writes David Akers.  “Relatively few specimens better than MS-65 are known, and such high quality examples can really be considered extremely rare.” Jeff Garrett writes, “Most examples seen for the date are well struck with excellent luster. The date is among the better produced for the series, and is ideal for Type coin collectors as well.”

NGC has graded 2,850 as MS64 with 683 finer. Collector’s Universe prices this at $975.00 in MS64.
