David Akers writes, “The 1915 is typically well struck … (I have seen some radiant examples of the 1915 and some subdued ones but most have good lustre.) … Color is generally good, usually a light to medium yellow gold, often with some coppery highlights.”
Writes Jeff Garrett, “The date is quite common in all grades below the Gem level and can be found with little difficulty. Amazingly, the NGC Census contains only [14] of these coins graded MS 66; they typically draw five figures when they go to auction.”
