1913 10C Barber Silver Dime PCGS MS65

As is the case with most Barber Dimes produced at the Philadelphia Mint, the 1913 is typically well-struck. At the high end, eye appeal takes over, as evidenced by this colorful MS65 example.
Ron Guth writes in PCGS Coinfacts, “The 1913 Dime has the third largest mintage of the entire Barber Dime series, making it one of the most common and affordable examples of the type.” Numismatist and art historian Cornelius Vermeule writes of Barber’s design that, "Liberty's cap, incised diadem, and wreath of laurel were designed to echo all the depth and volume of her Olympian countenance.”
