The 1891-CC ten had a mintage of 103,732—the highest mintage of any gold eagle at that historic mint. It would be perfect for the aficionado of the Old West or the Carson City Mint. Many of this issue circulated in the Old West, however a significant number of uncirculated pieces were shipped to Europe, and have returned to America over the years. PCGS has graded 160 as XF45 with 2,896 finer. Collectors Universe gives this issue a price of $2,600.00 in XF45.
