Take advantage of this unique opportunity to acquire a rare issue from the Carson City Mint. Specialists in tens from Carson City will want to take a careful look at this offering from AU Capital Management. Rusty Goe reports that from its original mintage of 7,715, there are only 100-135 surviving pieces. NGC has graded 16 as XF40 with 43 finer. The Carson City Mint produced eagles during the 1870s in limited quantities. The mintages ranged from the low of 1,762 in 1879 up to 16,767 in 1874. Thus, this offering from AUCM is around the middle range of those low-mintage issues. The 1875-CC $10 Eagle is rare in each and every grade.
