Obverse: 13 stars around large Indian head. 1872 below bust. Curl touches 7 of date. 6th star left of headband, 7th and 8th stars between 4th and 5th feathers of headdress.

Reverse: 1-4 DOLLAR CAL. within wreath. 10 berries on left branch and 12 berries on right. Same rev. as BG-790 and BG-792.

1. Die State-1: Perfect dies.
2. Die State-2: Obverse edge die cud at 3:00 partly obliterates the star there and completely covers the several denticles.
