• Period Two – Jeweler’s issues struck between 1859 and 1882.
• Redbook Type: Large Indian Head / Value & CAL in Wreath.
• Made by Christopher Ferdinand Mohrig.

Obverse:13 stars, Large Indian head. 6th star is close to front of 1st headdress feather, 7th and 8th stars nearly touch 4th and 5th headdress feathers. 1872/1 below bust.

Reverse: 1-4 DOLLAR CAL. within wreath. 5 pair berries on left branch 6 pair on right. Period after CAL. Same as BG-791 and BG-792.

1. Die State-1: Heavily clashed and cracked through left stars. May exist uncracked.
