And you can get it for a reasonable price when compared with many other Top Pop coins in the extensive Fractional Gold series. NGC has graded 1 in MS66PL with none finer. In total, NGC has graded 11 examples of BG-867 in PL. PCGS has only graded one PL piece of the BG-867. That one carries the grade of MS63PL. Collectors Universe gives this variety a price of $3,750.00 in MS66PL.

Obverse: 13  6-pointed stars around ugly head. 1st star to left of bust point; coronet points to 1st star, 8th star is small.

Reverse: 1/4 DOLLAR 1870 within wreath. 4 pairs of berries on each branch. A berry to the upper left of the D and upper right of the R. A small bow is at the bottom of the wreath.
