Obverse: 13 6-pointed stars around ugly head. 1st star to left of bust point; coronet points to 1st star, 8th star is small.
Reverse: 1/4 DOLLAR 1870 within wreath. 4 pairs of berries on each branch. A berry to the upper left of the D and upper right of the R. A small bow is at the bottom of the wreath.
