Featuring the famous Vaquero or Horseman design modeled after the 1850 $10 Baldwin gold coin of the California Gold Rush! Created from Justh & Hunter gold ingots recoveredfrom the shipwreck of the SS Central America. Struck from gold melted down from ingot #4050, originally weighing 715.85 ounces with a finness of .906 gold. This ingot had a value of $13,406.93 and must have been absolutely massive before it was consigned to the melting pot. But the 500 coins produced from the effort have been and continue to be widely received by the numismatic collecting community.
