Obverse: 10 stars. Same obverse as BG-505, BG-506, BG-507, BG-508 & BG-509 except stars are again smaller from repolishing. This is particularly true of the 5th, 8th, 9th, and 10th stars. 1st star horizontally parallel with tip of neck.
Reverse: CALIFORNIA. * GOLD. (only one 5 pointed star, at 1:00 o’ clock) the initials "FD" below; all outside of beaded circle. 1 DOLLAR 1854 is within the beaded circle. The 1854 is clear and strong.
