Winter-7L. Evenly worn with a slight green-gold appearance. Several small marks are seen with close examination, none are singularly mentionable. A well-defined and clashed example with uniform olive-green toning. One of only 19,303 pieces struck, and one of an estimated 175-200 remaining survivors.
The Dahlonega mintmark was initially entered above the 1 in the fraction. The mint worker then realized the feather tip would interfere with mintmark visibility, so the mintmark was partly effaced and repunched between the feather and branch, overlapping both. Housed in an old green label holder.
