Very rare issue. Date not visible (1694-1714). Obverse: (CAROLVS.II.D.G.). 6.70 grams. 0.9179 fine gold. Posthumous (after 1700) coinage of Charles II, issued during the reign of Philip V under the direction of the assayer Buenaventura de Arce. No mintmark. Nuevo Reino mint. Reverse has the Cross of Jerusalem and lions and castles (Leon and Castile) in quarters. NGC has graded 2 as MS61 with 8 finer. KM14.2. Restrepo-M80.
