Madrid, Spain, bust gold 8 escudos of Charles III, dated 1786/74DV, certified by NGC as Mint State-61, and FINEST KNOWN in their census. This specimen has a nice strike with light toning and luster in legends, some light surface hairlines on obverse, with the underdate with flat base for the last digit plus arc-shaped extra metal to right that is probably not part of the underdigit. As stated, finest at NGC by two grades, also with dot before AUSPICE in legend not noted on label.
